this book of poems was born from an outburst of venting my emotions. three years ago, I was going through some confusing emotional times about what love and emotion truly is, and how it can effect me. In that time i would write down my emotions in a poetic form. When my friends and my father told me how they thought i had a gift for poetry, it really awoke something in me. I wasn't sure at first, cause i thought it came so naturally to me, that how could it be something of value? it was just too, not easy, that's not the word, but second nature. When i did realize i shouldn't withold it i decided this may just help others. I wrote about hope, inpiration, self realization, love and truth. I wanted a connection, a purpose for my writing. this is how Bittersweet was born. It's not just poetry, it's a journey, and ultimatley, from it's name, finding the place that just falls soemwhere inbetween, for now.
