Inked

To whom it concerns... hahaha

I have added a few poems from Bittersweet.
they'll make you smile, they might even make you cry. I hope
i don't make you cry though, unless it's the "tears of joy" concept. :)
I would like to spread these poems out to you. They're my way of telling you what i have seen life like, become and what it is now.
Everyone in life wants to smile, to grow and become a strong person. If you ever do get a chance to read Bittersweet, you will find that they are not just paragraphs of words that rhyme, they are telling a story, painting a canvas and reaching out to hearts. I'm not only saying what hardships humanity goes through, but what humanity has been blind to.

The reason to live is to overcome our struggles. The rules of life might not change, but we can change ourseleves. Acceptance is one of the keys to all of life's lessons. Even stains are beautiful.

Sacrifice

Sacrifice

We count away our time
Regretting our sun ever shined
We’d rather live at night
Never to see any of your scars

We live to sacrifice
Empty out our own lives
See our loved ones smile
Even if we pine all the while

We want to give in
Give the love you all are missin’
And take in all your sorrow
To grant you a better tomorrow

No need to ask how we feel
All that matters is if you’re real
See our delicate smiles and tears
We’ll make you laugh away your pain and fears

We live to sacrifice
Never to entice
You to our own whims
We would be mistaken

We’d do anything for a single laugh
We’d say anything for your joy to last
We’d do anything for many years
We’d say anything for your ‘I love you’ dears

Deck of Cards

Deck of cards

Spades,
Clubs
Hearts,
Diamonds

Life, bring me what you will
And make me fight until
I know it gets even more pained
Cause that’s how it’s played
I’ll make it to the top eventually
Cause after all it’ll come naturally

Showed me the spades
That stabbed me with pain
Clubs, sent me an explosion
Gave me an array of emotion

And hearts opened to one another
healing into a diamond with luster
These are my deck of cards
Reminding me it’s not that hard

They might not be in order
Choosing won’t make you a beggar
So when they fall to the ground
Let them stay face down
And pick them up again
It’s limited time to spend
If you choose your desired order
You’ll break their corners

Spades,
Clubs
Hearts,
Diamonds

Showed me the spades
Made me help my pains
Clubs, sent me flying
Gave me a chance at smiling

And hearts mended into one
Process of diamonds are done
These are my deck of cards
Reminding me who we are

We’re only human
So if we keep consuming
And try to get our own way
There’ll come a day
You’ll fall hard
Cause the bigger you are
You’ll fall hard

Spades,
Clubs
Hearts,
Diamonds

A deck of cards
Don’t grow with greed
Replace them with a good deed
You’ll fall hard
Cause the bigger you are
You’ll fall hard
Along with your deck of cards

Sunrise

(the above image does not belong to me.)

Sunrise

Yeah the sunset is believed romantic
With all its soft colorful clouds
Yet what would you call a frown?
The safest sun is a smile or a laugh

Stay up to see a remarkable sight
A sunrise is rarely seen at all
Like a smile that radiates light
Just give it a look, you won’t regret

A red line on the horizon flickers
As a yellow light starts to bleed
Is it close to anything you’ve ever seen?
Now time slows, as the sun awakes

When your mind goes into bliss
Even you’d believe the wealth of the sight
And every worry, every pain is a miss
As joy anxiously tickles you

Yeah the sunset is believed romantic
With all its soft colorful clouds
Yet what would you call a frown?
The safest sun is a smile or a laugh

Stay up to see a remarkable sight
A sunrise is rarely seen at all
Like a smile that radiates light
Just give it a look, you won’t regret

Everybody, give a chance to the sunrise
Do a good deed and see it blossom
Be patient, kind and then some
Let it glow, and inspire awe
